These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Paratha Box Flask.
When certain words and phrases are used in these Terms, they have specific meanings (these are known as “defined terms”). You can identify these defined terms because they start with capital letters (even if they are not at the start of a sentence). Where a defined term is used, it has the meaning given to it in the section of these Terms where it was defined (you can find these meanings by looking at the sentence where the defined term is included in brackets and speech marks).
In these Terms, when we refer to “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean the Company; and when we refer to “you” or “your” we mean you, the person using the Paratha Box’s Flask.

1.2 The Company operates the following website:
- www.parathabox.com (the “Paratha Box Website”)
1.3 The Company also operates the Paratha Box App (the “Paratha Box App”).

2. Obtaining your Paratha Box Flask
2.1 The Paratha Box Flask is issued and operated by the Company.
2.2 The Paratha Box Flask can be obtained by purchasing from the website, or in-store at participating outlets.
2.3 If the Paratha Box Flask is not available in-store, you will be redirected to purchase the Flask from the website.
2.4 If there is no stock of the Flask, expect a lead time of up to 4 weeks for your flask to be delivered to us and ready for dispatched to you.
2.5 The Paratha Box Flask is available to purchase at a price of £20 at any participating Paratha Box outlet.
2.6 If purchasing the Paratha Box Flask online (on the company’s website) the price will be inclusive of postage & packaging costs, which you will be expected to pay.
3. Using your Paratha Box Flask
3.1 You must be present with your Paratha Box Flask when you make purchases in a Paratha Box outlet when purchasing any chai from the menu and you will be given a discount of £1.
3.2 Once you have paid for your order, a member of staff will fill the Flask with the respective Chai you ordered.
3.3 The Flask will only be filled up to the volume of the amount respective of the amount for the Chai you ordered. For example, if you have ordered Desi Chai (8oz), your flask will be filled up with 8oz of Desi Chai.
3.4 Staff at Paratha Box outlets are not responsible for rinsing or cleaning your Flask.
3.4.1 It is your responsibility to ensure the Flask is clean before handing it over to staff.
3.4.2 If you present an unclean Flask to the staff, staff will have the right to refuse your order.
4. Lost or stolen Paratha Box’s Flasks
4.1 You are responsible for any unauthorised payments usage of your Paratha Box’s Flask. Therefore, please do not allow others to use your Flaks. Paratha Box’s is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged Flasks.
5. Limitations of use of your Paratha Box’s Flask
5.1 Paratha Box’s Flask may not be sold, exchanged or used for any other purpose, except as specified in these Terms, without Paratha Box’s written permission.
5.2 We reserve the right to refuse to accept a Paratha Box’s Flask or to limit the use of a Paratha Box’s Flask if we deem it to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud, misconduct or unauthorised use. We may withdraw or cancel your Paratha Box’s Flask or take any other action we may deem appropriate if we suspect fraud, misconduct or unauthorised use of your Paratha Box’s Flask.
5.3 We reserve the right to withdraw the Flask scheme on reasonable notice.
6. Our liability
6.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
6.1.1 death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
6.1.2 fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and
6.1.3 any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or restrict our liability.
6.2 We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time that you used your Paratha Box’s Flask
6.3 We only supply the Paratha Box’s Flask for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the Paratha Box’s Flask for any commercial or business purposes and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
6.4 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. Advice about your statutory rights is available from the Competition and Markets Authority at https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/competition-and-markets-authority
7. Suspension and termination
7.1 If you breach any of these Terms, we may immediately do any or all of the following (without limitation):
7.1.1 issue a warning to you;
7.1.2 temporarily or permanently withdraw your right to use your Paratha Box’s Flask;
7.1.3 issue legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs resulting from the breach (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs);
7.1.4 take further legal action against you; and/or
7.1.5 disclose such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary to do so.
8. Changes to these Terms
8.1 We may make changes to these Terms from time to time (if, for example, there is a change in the law that means we need to change these Terms). Please check these Terms regularly to ensure that you understand the Terms that apply at the time that you use the Paratha Box’s Flask
9. Other important information
9.1 Each of the clauses of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain in full force and effect.
9.2 If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the UK. This means that your use of your Paratha Box’s Flask and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection therewith (including non-contractual disputes or claims), will be governed by English law.

2. Obtaining your Paratha Box Flask
2.1 The Paratha Box’s Gift Card is issued and operated by the Company.
2.2 The Paratha Box’s Gift Card allows you to upload a cash value (in sterling £) onto your Paratha Box’s Gift Card which can be used to pay for Paratha Box’s products The money loaded onto your Paratha Box’s Gift Card is only a pre-payment system for the goods and services of participating Paratha Box’s outlets in the UK; it is not a credit card, credit line or deposit account. No interest, dividends or any other earnings will accrue on the money loaded onto your Paratha Box’s Gift Card.
2.3 To upload money onto a Paratha Box’s Gift Card, you must be aged 18 or over and a resident in the UK. The Paratha Box’s Gift Card can be used by UK residents aged 14 or over.
3. Uploading money onto and using a Paratha Box’s Gift Card
3.1 The card can be loaded with value £25, £40 and £100. The maximum value which may be stored on the card is £100.
3.1.1 Paratha Box will top up your card when credit is loaded onto it. A £25 purchase will be topped up with £2.50, a £40 purchase will be topped up with £6, a £100 purchase will be topped up with £25.
3.1.2 Top ups can take up to 2 working days to be added to the gift card balance.
3.1.3 Paratha Box reserves the right to amend/remove the top up values mentioned in 3.1.1 without any notice.
3.2 You must be present with your Paratha Box’s Gift Card when you make purchases in a Paratha Box’s outlet. You should treat your Paratha Box’s Gift Card as cash for any purchases in participating Paratha Box’s outlets in the UK.
3.3 The money uploaded to your Paratha Box’s Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded to your credit card or debit card. Any remaining balance will be stored on your Paratha Box’s Gift Card and may be used to pay, in whole or in part, for future purchases at Paratha Box’s outlets.
3.4 All money uploaded on your Paratha Box’s Gift Card must be used by the expiry date which is 12 months from the date that the money was uploaded onto the Paratha Box’s Gift Card. Any balance left on the Paratha Box’s Gift Card after this date will be forfeited and cannot be refunded.
4. Lost or stolen Paratha Box’s Gift Cards
4.1 You are responsible for any unauthorised payments using your Paratha Box’s Gift Card. Therefore, please do not allow others to use your Gift Card. Paratha Box’s is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards.
5. Limitations of use of your Paratha Box’s Gift Card
5.1 Please note that the Paratha Box’s Gift Card cannot be used to purchase products on the Websites or Paratha Box’s App.
5.2 Paratha Box’s Gift Cards may not be sold, exchanged or used for any other purpose, except as specified in these Terms, without Paratha Box’s written permission.
5.3 We do not warrant or represent that your Paratha Box’s Gift Card will always be accepted at participating Paratha Box’s outlets. For example, in the unlikely event of a failure of our IT and communications systems, we may not be able to accept Paratha Box’s Gift Cards as payment during such a system failure.
5.4 We reserve the right to refuse to accept a Paratha Box’s Gift Card or to limit the use of a Paratha Box’s Gift Card if we deem it to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud, misconduct or unauthorised use. We may withdraw or cancel your Paratha Box’s Gift Card or take any other action we may deem appropriate if we suspect fraud, misconduct or unauthorised use of your Paratha Box’s Gift Card. The Paratha Box’s Gift Card shall become invalid once cancelled and you will not be able to redeem the balance on your Paratha Box’s Gift Card.
5.5 We reserve the right to withdraw the Gift Card scheme on reasonable notice.
5.6 Paratha Box’s gift card can only be utilised in the outlet it was originally purchased from.
6. Our liability
6.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
6.1.1 death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
6.2 Subject to clauses 6.1 and 6.3, our maximum liability to you in relation to your use of any Gift Card shall under no circumstances exceed the outstanding balance held on your Gift Card.
6.3 We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time that you used your Paratha Box’s Gift Card.
6.4 We only supply the Paratha Box’s Gift Card for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the Paratha Box’s Gift Card for any commercial or business purposes and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

Return Policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Please note, we will only accept a return if the item is defective or damaged upon receipt of the item. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@parathabox.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 77 Lister Street, Glasgow, Scotland, G4 0BZ. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not United Kingdom, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

1. Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
2. Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
3. Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
